“The Throne of Tara,” by John Desjarlais

These, along with a couple others here, have a funny story. Recently my church library weeded out some of it’s more dated fiction & non-fiction. I asked permission to take some of them home before they got rid of them, but they were carted off before I could adopt them. (I had not known this.) Two weeks later I attended the town’s senior citizen rummage sale. Low and behold, there were the church library discards, along with the very ones I’d marked with sticky notes! I told the sale organizers what had happened, but unfortunately they wouldn’t let me have them for free. Nuts! Oh well– 25 cents is a close second.
