I’ve been hitting the jackpot lately with 3 late-summer book sales! Today I visited nearby P—-, where I normally go on the last day of the sale to cash in on their $3 a bag sale. But lately their tables have been pretty picked over, so this time around I decided to go for the first day. Their prices are the cheapest around, so I’m not complaining. $1 for hardbacks, 50 cents for softcovers, 25 cents for paperbacks… That’s a steal any given day!
So here’s my finds from today (other two sales will be in a future post)…
One good thing about going the 1st day is I get to take my pick of the movies! They’re usually completely gone by the final day.
I’ve been hearing so many good things about this book lately. My curiosity is peaked…
Book #1 of “Pendragon Cycle Series”
Book #3 in “Ladies of History Series” (but they stand on their own); I have plenty of books by this author I want to get to someday!
I’ve been doing these exercises off and on for a year and am glad to now have the book for my own. Came with a DVD as well.
A book I’ve been wanting to read since a teenager.
Includes: Leaf By Niggle; The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth; Farmer Giles of Ham; The Adventures of Tom Bombadil; On Fairty-Stories
This book so appeals to me!
Cute little hardback with illustrations.
