Two days ago I was in the checkout line at my library when I overheard the librarian at the desk telling a patron about a book. Not just any book, but a sequel to another book that was actually written first, and it was to be released that very day. Huh. I wondered what that could be? But I didn’t want to barge into their conversation so I didn’t inquire. I went home. Turned on my computer and learned what it was. To Kill a Mockingbird has a SEQUEL? And, it’s quite controversial, according to this video.
The response to this book will be quite interesting as time goes on, especially in this day and age. Chris Fabry devoted an hour on his program to discuss To Kill… & it’s sequel, Go Set a Watchman. You can listen to it for free for up to a year after it’s air-date by clicking here.
