Midday Connection’s first You Pick Book Club program recently aired this week on Moody Radio with a great discussion on Michelle Phoenix’s fiction novel entitled, “In Broken Places.”  You can listen to the program for free up to a year by clicking here.  Topics discussed in the program include abuse, codependency, dealing with and healing from past pain, and learning to trust again.

If you’re interested in joining the radio book club, you can vote for You Pick’s next book selection until Jul. 1 here.  The most voted for selection will be discussed sometime during the month of August.  The three selections this time around are:

I voted for “Sing for Me,” by Karen Halvorsen Schreck, but I would be equally interested in “Resurrection in May,” by Lisa Samson.  The third is “Letters from Ruby,” by Adam Thomas.

UPDATE: The most voted for selection was “Sing for Me,” and will air in August.

I’m so excited to listen to these book clubs!  I rarely follow the reading plans, but I get so much out of listening to the discussions and love passing them along on my blog.
