Midday Connection Book Club: East of Eden

30 Mar

I love to listen to Moody Radio’s cal-in program Midday Connection and their book club discussions!  I always enjoy Dr. Rosalie de Rosset and the straightforward opinions this literary professor has on classic books and how they tie into our lives today.  The book clubs, centering around classics old and new, were created in order for us to stretch and grow in good, healhty reading.  Vist their website at middayconnection.org.

This week on April 3th, 12:00 CT, they will be having their book club discussion on John Steinbeck’s East of Eden.  Find a station nearest you here.

Are you reading this post April 3, 2013?  That’s okay!  You can still listen to it and access other past book discussions there.

Do you have the discussion questions for “My Antonia’s” by Willa Cather? This was one of the books discussed on Midday Connections led by Dr, Rosalie de Rossetti.

Hi! No, I’m afraid I don’t have the discussion questions that used to be available for download. Unfortunately Midday Connection no longer has their free past programs up on Moody’s website. But you can access most of their programs here:

There may be access to the questions that way, but I’m unsure.
      Thanks for commenting!

    Mabel, one more thing:
I was able to fine tune my search and found the program on “My Antonia” which you can listen to here:

    Hope this helps!
